Our Used Book Trading Policy

Our book are generally priced at 60% of the Canadian list price, with some exceptions, such as collectables and hard to find editions.

We are located across from Canadian Superstore in the old Bibles for Missions location. We have 4,000 Sq. ft. with approx 40,000 books.

The Fine Print

The consideration allowed for book is a “credit” only, has no redeemable cash value. If leaving the trading area, it is the customers’ responsibility to use up their credit balance. We do allow credit balances to be transferred to anyone in part or in whole. Our credits have no expiry date. 

It is the responsibility of the customer to determine if our stock of books is suitable for their reading purposes before turning books in for credit, and to determine the suitability of any book for their need at the time of purchase. (Which would include having read a particular book previously.)

You may allow anyone to use your credit, but we ask that you personally advise prior to anyone requesting to use it. We are happy to add any name(s) to your credit file that you request.

We take limited amounts of hard cover fiction, any magazines, Silhouette & Harlequin, encyclopedias, and computer books older than two years.

Due to our space limitations, any books left with us, but not accepted, will be donated to a charitable institution after two days.

We will pay cash for some selected books at a price to be negotiated. Usually 10% of the list price.
